On the afternoon of June 17th, The College of Civil Engineering and Mechanics of Lanzhou University held a seminar for teachers and students in Yuzhong Campus to preach the relevant policies of the school and college's Youpei plan, answer students' questions, and listen to the opinions and Suggestions of undergraduates. Members of the leadership of the college, master supervisors, and some undergraduates of 2017 and 2018 attended the conference.
At the symposium, Professor Huang Ning, dean of the college, introduced the scientific research, teaching, and talent training of the school and the college, and put forward the advantages of the school in five aspects, such as time, economy, network, platform, and characteristics, etc. Students are welcome to continue their studies in the school and make contributions to the social and economic development of the western region of China. Professor Zhang Xingyi, vice dean of the College, preached the basic information of the college and postgraduate training and explained and deployed the relevant policies and pre-admission arrangements of the Youpei plan in 2020.
Afterward, the teachers and students discussed the two subject groups of civil engineering (including geological engineering). The teachers introduced their respective research directions and work progress, and answered questions about the subject and professional development, employment, and career planning that the students were concerned about one by one. The communication atmosphere was warm and harmonious.
